My professional qualifications include a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy (Dip CP), an Advanced Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy (Ad Dip CP) and a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills (Dip Hyp CS). As an Accredited Member of the National Counselling Society and a Licentiate Member of the National Hypnotherapy Society, I am also bound by each Society's Code of Ethics.

In addition, I am continuing to study as part of my ongoing professional education.

I recently completed a Mentor training course with Surrey Care Trust and am now providing a voluntary mentoring service for young people (aged 14-16). I have also completed the NSPCC Child Protection Awareness programme and hold a current CRB certificate.

A Brighton girl originally I was born and grew up there and started my working life at the Brighton branch of a well-known bank
I then moved to London and continued to work in the finance world until I was married and had my two daughters, now grown up but still very much a part of my life.

My big passion has always been music, particularly singing, and before I began my training as a Counsellor and Hypnotherapist, I spent a number of very happy years teaching music to pre-school children.

I now feel I am at the right point in my life to help people of all ages address the issues that can stop any of us from living our lives the way we really want to.
